Job Description

Pay Grade: K

Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff. Handles operations of a unit, develops and administers policy, procedures & plans, assists in  employee selection, budget preparation and performs special projects as delegated.  Conduct investigations to obtain evidence of reported fraud, abuse, or violation of rules, regulations, or statutes, or locate missing persons.

Role and Responsibilities:
 

  • Manages the performance of Compliance Investigator I, Compliance Investigator II positions.
  • Reviews all prosecution referrals associated with an intentional program violation in the SNAP, TANF, and/or Childcare system.
  • Reviews federal interceptions and state offsets related to any delinquent overpayments.
  • Ensure that all team goals and expectations are identified and communicated.
  • Ensures that all assignments and projects are completed in a timely manner, regardless of complexity.
  • Promote collaboration amongst team members, capitalizing on the varied areas of professional expertise to achieve the required results of the task or project assigned.
  • Manage time effectively in delivering various tasks and responsibilities to ensure goals and expectations are met and aligned with the department’s objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND five (5) years of directly related experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory role; 

OR 

  • Five (5) years of directly related experience in the area of assignment, including two (2) years in a supervisory role; 

OR
  • One (1) year of experience required at the lower level Compliance Investigator 3 (PSP082) or position equivalent. 
Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license 
Note: Some positions may require P.O.S.T. certification or eligibility.
