SGI Global is seeking a Senior Civil Investigator to support the Affirmative Civil Enforcement (ACE) program at the United States Attorney's Office (USAO), Southern District of Alabama. This position plays a vital role in investigating and developing civil fraud cases and other enforcement actions that protect taxpayer dollars and uphold the integrity of federally funded programs.
The Investigator will work closely with Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) and agency partners to develop complex civil cases-particularly under the False Claims Act-involving fraud, civil rights violations, and procurement misconduct. Investigations often require in-depth analysis of financial and documentary evidence, witness interviews, and coordination with multiple federal, state, and local agencies.

Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship.
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
Background in law enforcement, forensic accounting, healthcare fraud, civil litigation, or legal investigations.
Experience working with or supporting federal agencies.
Familiarity with medical billing practices and reviewing healthcare records.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
Experience conducting investigations involving financial records, fraud schemes, or regulatory violations.
Proficient with common software tools such as Microsoft Office; ability to analyze large volumes of documents and data.
