Complex Insurance Fraud / Commercial Litigation Attorney
Location: Uniondale, NY (Hybrid)
Company Overview
A well-established law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its Uniondale, NY office. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated and high-stakes litigation matters involving complex fraud investigations and commercial disputes. Attorneys in this practice gain meaningful courtroom exposure and hands-on experience while working alongside a collaborative and experienced litigation team.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex litigation matters in state and federal courts
- Conduct investigations related to insurance and fraud claims
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
- Participate in depositions, hearings, and court appearances
- Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy
- Manage case files and litigation deadlines
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York Bar
- Minimum of 1 year of complex litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Insurance fraud or healthcare fraud experience is a plus
- Ability to manage demanding litigation matters in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 (based on experience)
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off
- Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote)
